No funeral scheduled for student killed in shooting
A lawyer for two families involved in a fatal high school shooting that happened two weeks ago said funerals are not planned, according to the Indianapolis Star.
The lawyers, Paul Pfingst and Bill Deaton, also said funeral services for the 14-year-old boy killed in the shooting are not being held, according to the article.
The lawyers said the funerals would still be held for the two other victims of the shooting, according to the article.
Parents wanted 13-year-old boy slain at Noblesville West Middle School to be cremated
The parents of 14-year-old student Ella Whistler and 13-year-old boy Anthony Davis have reportedly asked the Harrison County Coroner to cremate their son’s body without a funeral.
The parents apparently want 13-year-old victim Anthony Davis to be cremated, too, and have not asked for a funeral, said the article.
A spokeswoman for the coroner’s office said Friday, February 16, 2018 that no plans are set yet for funerals for Whistler and Davis.
